Are humans already living on Mars?

Somebody ridiculed me when I mentioned this conjecture about a year ago. Then I found the following videos last week that tell how any skeptics can look up the Google Mars images themselves. I don't know about you, but these images are extremely convincing to me. Like the narrator, I don't see how anyone can arrive at any other reasonable conclusion. What do you think? There exists much additional evidence, too, but I'm finding out that coincidence theorists don't even bother to watch my posted videos before repeating their existing opinion, so maybe it's pointless to post more evidence right away.

If humans didn't build these structures, then who (or what) did? Or if the pictures are faked, who in NASA would go to such extensive trouble to mislead the public, and why, and why hasn't NASA explained the pictures?

First time I'm seeing this. I have to say right off the bat I thought this was going to be a really lame internet hoax but like you said, those images are rather convincing. I haven't searched for them myself yet but I plan to.

IF the images are real, there is absolutely no plausible explanation that wouldn't shatter preexisting world views.

The most likely thing I can think it might be is a secret military base, or a secret "last-resort-if-earth-gets-destroyed" project. But that still doesn't make any sense because how did they build it, who got sent up there to work on it?

The theory that martians could have built it and traveled to earth before a huge war seems like the least likely explanation to me due to a simple logical inconsistency: human culture clearly evolved on earth from cave men to modern industrial society. If martians came to earth to save themselves they wouldn't have destroyed all records of their technology and cultural heritage (or maybe they did?)



In the end, I have to believe it's faked because there just isn't an explanation that remotely makes any sense...

 A secret military base is in fact the most common explanation I've seen. The following video is long, but the interviewee (a Marine Corps officer) answers all your questions of who went there, how they got there, how they built it, and how they hid it. The only discrepancy I could detect in what he said is that he claims the structures are cloaked with advanced cloaking technology (you can easily prove to yourself that such technology already exists, one type is made of metamaterials, and in fact is being publicly sold by a Canadian company), but obviously the Google Mars images above are not cloaked, at least not completely. What the interviewee does corroborate, however, is that published images fairly clearly show forests on Mars, which I've also confirmed from online videos like the one below.

Your two sentences are a bit of a potential contradiction, don't you think? First you say that major things could be hidden from the public, then you assume that what the public was told about the moon landing are true. I've heard various claims about these: at one extreme some people say the U.S. never landed on the moon as publicized in 1969, and at the other extreme some say the U.S. has been on the moon since the 1950s. Both could be true, though. Below is another video about a soldier who claims we have a base on Mars, and also have had a base on the moon since the 1950s. The second video is about the other extreme: that we not only cannot get to the moon, we cannot even get into low earth orbit. The famous scientist Michiu Kaku seems to assume that what we have been told about Mars is true, though. I have a lot of respect for him, so I don't know what to believe.

It's easy to blame people and groups for controlling things.

It's a hell of a lot harder to take it one step beyond that and try to understand the systems that control people. The invisible forces we don't think about, we never question.

In other words, say the elite do control a lot of things--How is it possible? What sort of system allows this to happen? What sort of culture allows it? What sort of education allows it?

Blaming the elite will never solve anything because the system that allowed it all in the first place still exists. People can be replaced. It won't change much. Change the system, change the world.

Hm. Maybe. I just don't see why they would want to. I always think of motive when I hear conspiracy theories. And if I can't think of a good one, I have a hard time believing it. I'd love to be proven wrong someday and have my world view shattered. For now I'm content looking at the things I know 100% exist and need fixed. Seems like a better use of energy.

I think everyone doing high-level classified work will agree with you on your first point, judging only by the comments I've seen online. (No, I've never worked on any such technology myself, and at this point I don't think I even want to.) The main disagreement I detect is the number of decades that secret technology is supposedly ahead of the general public's knowledge. The most common figures I've heard is around 15-20 years ahead, but some insiders claim they are 100 years ahead.

That makes a huge difference. If they are 100 years ahead in this historical stage of extremely rapidly advancing technology, then all bets are off: technology that is 100 years ahead of us would include bonafide articial intelligence (AGI = artificial general intelligence), which means their pace of scientific advancement is progressing at electronic speed instead of human speed, and would likely already include interplanetary travel, extremely advanced DNA modification, and possibly even interstellar travel and time travel.

If they are only 15-20 years ahead of us, then you could expect advanced *conventional* (= applied) artificial intelligence (GOFAI = good old-fashioned A.I.), practical quantum computers, advanced weapons of all sorts, sophisticated underground and undersea bases, and genetic experiments on humans. In other words, everything we already know is being worked on, but just more advanced.

This is a huge topic in itself that gets into the topic of "breakaway civilizations" and The Singularity. Since most experts believe The Singularity will happen around 2040, which is only 23 years from now, that means that even the low estimates of a 15-20-year headstart puts elite science extremely close to Singularity level technology.

Sqod, you are very intelligent, and perhaps a bit deluded as well. Nothing you have stated can be proven yet, so all's a conspiracy thus far.

 

I suppose when debating life on Mars and high technology that would efficiently transport materials from Earth to Mars, the topics of aliens and UFOs are inevitable, though I was trying to steer away from those two huge topics to a certain extent, though I admit they both fascinate me. For what it's worth, here are a few of my own perceptions and links on these and similar topics, at random since these topics are each so huge:

Personally I believe that *most* claims of reversed alien technology are clearly false because I've studied the history of the development of computers and lasers in pretty good depth, and each of those technologies went through a long period of development that was well-documented at each stage, so I assume the claims of other reversed engineered technologies from alien artifacts like fiber optics, Kevlar, and night vision are faulty for the same reason. Therefore I agree with *most* of the claims of the conventional scientists in the following video, for example:

Personally, where I am most willing to consider reversed engineered alien technology might have happened is in (1) those extremely advanced craft that many people have seen and typically report as UFOS, and (2) in certain ancient mysteries, because both of those are truly technologies that seemed to spring from nowhere, have almost no history of development, and are so incongruous with the ambient technology of the time. The Nazi work on The Bell aircraft in World War II is particularly fascinating, and there exist mainstream documentaries on this subject, such as:

That's fairly convincing to me because we have documented photos, files, and statements from Nazi scientists that they were working on that secret project during the war, the secrecy would easily explain the apparent lack of published project documentation, and this is also consistent with physics genius Richard Feynman's statement in a famous classroom lecture that the most *likely* source of witnessed bell-shaped craft is our own planet, not aliens on other planets:

Paul Hellyer was the Defense Minister for the country of Canada, which is obviously no small position of authority, so when he says humans are in contact with intelligent aliens, goes into detail about their species, where they're from, what their demeanors are, and then publishes a book disclosing such info, I give his claims serious consideration.

 

Anyone who claims that all UFO sightings are explainable by conventional aircraft is simply being foolish, hasn't done their research, and/or is simply refusing to consider new input that doesn't fit their existing world view. Even mainstream media broadcasts UFO sightings in cases when multiple people report the same phenomenon, especially when they have multiple pieces of video evidence, like this impressive incident in Jerusalem, witnessed and videotaped from people throughout the city at different angles and distances:

I have lots more documentation on all these topics, but I was particularly astonished at those Google Mars images that don't seem to have any good explanation for their existence, other than somehow somebody on our planet was able to fly personnel and equipment out there to build those structures. If Google and NASA are normally trying to hide such information from the public, then did someone simply make a mistake? Or are they trying to break the truth to the public gently? Or more ominously, do they not care anymore because they know our society won't stay intact long enough for the public to find out, or to fly to the moon or Mars, even via SpaceX?

If you're referring to moon landing hoax theories, I haven't yet decided if I believe in those, but I have to admit that some of the evidence of an Apollo hoax is *very* convincing, and the supposed explanations I've seen always omit the most glaring anomalies and always use faulty logic, so rebuttal videos have definitely failed to convince me. What's really mind-blowing is that the Chinese rocket launches and space walks, as well as the SpaceX launches and landings all show similar, strong evidence of being fake. The consistency that almost everything related to space activity nowadays shows so many very questionable anomalies is pretty scary. Worse, there are so many other, new anomalies being photographed and reported regarding aircraft and spacecraft that it's getting unreal: the supposedly real rockets seem to be fake, but yet supposedly nonexistent flying objects that people can actually photograph are officially ignored. The questionable reports and photos of space even extend to photos of Jupiter, and anomalies in distant space probes, so it really makes one wonder. For now I'll just point out some evidence of fakery in the Chinese and SpaceX launches, in case people here haven't seen them before. Again, this is another huge topic that is somewhat off-topic from the Mars question.
