since our times in the caves the dog has been there with us side by side , working hard watching vigilantly defending us and being the greatest gift we could ever wish for , our friends

a cat has many good points too but never have they given us as much selfless service for such a small price , our love

but fairs fair , so ,,, I used to visit a rasta , he had a cat and kittens , in his house he had a massive sound system and would always be playing reggae , the kittens growing up in this enviorment would play as lion cubs , not kittens lol , that was something I found incredibly cute , but I am a softie

If I have to reincarnate and choose between dog and cat, I would choose to be reborned as a cat. Men praise dogs for their loyalty and obedience. Even expect their human subordinates to behave like dogs. I'm a fair person. Can appreciate a cat for what they are. And they are cute, purr sounds sweet than barks. And I don't need whole day attention from pets.

lol yeah they crave human attention and it can get annoying but part of having a friend is having fun with them , my dog gizmo was a 'stick dog'

After say the gazillionth time of throwing the stick my arm would go ive had enough , so id wedge the stick in a tree and watch him pogo for hours trying to get it , I enjoyed that

also dogs barking esp the little ones ,,, they are the ones in the pack whose job it is to challenge the stranger approaching , whilst the pack circled and cut of any retreat , obviously this calls for bravery and nimbleness if needed to put distance between them and say a lion

gizmo would be obedient when he wanted to be though , I encouraged this lol as I didn't give him too many rules , but some of the stunts he would pull just to have his own way , (food fighting and making puppies ) being his reason for being , and it was I not him who had to do the learning just to be wise to his tricks , in the hope I could stop him before he caused too much trouble ,

now I don't share my life with a dog but one of my neighbours has a jack russel that makes gizmo look like a saint , his name is nipper , and nipper links a drink , his stunt is to play the puppy and bounce around and chase his tail , but what he is really upto is knocking over peoples beer which he would then look sad about andproceed to lick it up so he can be called a good dog for being so clean minded lol

Small dogs are taking over. They even ride on baby strollers. Dog care and supplies shops are everywhere in urban places.  Why? Why do people want dogs that much?

its the eyes , pups are taught by their mums (I think, although I lack proof) that soon they must leave the teat ,and find a human to be their helper , tutor , pack mate , now a puppy has some disadvantages , a breath that could kill a warthog being one , so how to win someones heart ?

My hypothesis is humans crave attention and affection. Only dogs could cope with their demands. One sound "Doggie" and he is in front wagging his tail. Try calling Mom, Darling, etc. Only bitch and dickhead would gain instant reaction.
