Arrogance is when you back into a car that stops behind your Hummer as you are backing up and you continue backing and push it across the parking lot. Then you leave without a scratch to your bumper. But the side is caved in on the other car.
Arrogance, like the unseen hand in economics, guides markets and creates wealth ... for the arrogant!

That is, perhaps, one problem with arrogance, is that too many people have it. It is annoying when you aren't completely surrounded by chumps who just want the privilege of breathing the air that you've recently defiled. We need even more money and power to go to even fewer people (myself included obviously).
