But on a serious note, it is taking humanity away from a lot of things, such as people faking essays with it, getting grades that do not reflect their intelligence. It also creates "art", which is devoid of any creativity, and does not have emotion attached to it because humans did not create it. This will only spiral downhill. I don't like AI much.

Yes so true, but humans are already showing that they are willing to abuse it, even though it's on a small scale. When it gets more powerful there will be bad people who abuse it on a larger scale.
ps. the people who abuse it now aren't all bad people, they are just making a bad choice.
