What would you play with white, and who do you think is winning (or maybe it's even?)
I'd play Nf3, and white is dead winning. What is black doing??? There are tons of gambits that have more compensation than that.

now what does white play? (btw this is all my own at-home analysis from playing against myself, I couldn't really find a move here)

ok, i didn't see that. perhaps instead of Nf3 we play e3 and if Bd6 then Be2, meeting Bg3 hxg3 Qxg3 with Kf1. Idk

Yeah it's really crazy, in the original position stockfish evals as +0.23 and then changes to -0.23 and then goes back up to +0.23

but I don't know, since my only experience was in a daily game where my opponent played (this was a From's gambit thematic btw):
