But the violation was that severe. Even if it was the person who reported him did the same thing at the same time so maybe it cancels it.

Without taking part in any battle about the bans of the forementioned characters, I want to point out a few things:
1°) No Martin, you can't possibly work for a company (regardless of related benefits), and claim you have no "vested interrests". Well, sure you can, but it makes then no sense, and no one should believe you then.
2°) Starting with such a counter truth, and then claim "But no I don't lie, ever" is of the same resort: saying whatever with obvious carelessness about any credibility, since why should one bother be credible toward defenseless people?
3°) Nor the aboves, nor the fact you're "vested" means you do actively, purposedly lie to anyone about anything. But it also doesn't mean you're not misleading, and/or dodging relevant but embarrassing questions and questionings.
The fact you try to prove us you're not "vested" since you're not lying to us could fit some bad spies movies of the 50s, not this thread. Nor any thread beside funny ones.
4°) Your seemingly benevolent replies to us, shows a terribler truth: the dialog between us, is like 3 or 4 years old kids asking questions to the adult in charge. For the power we have got is the same than the power these kids have got, and the power you have got, Martin, is the power of one of them adults in charge of kindergarden kiddos. And that is just so plain wrong.

Well, as I have previously posted, you can believe whatever you want.
If I have knowledge of something that I shouldn't post about, I won't do it. Not providing information I know about isn't falsehood, if I'm not in a position to share such information. So, yes, there will be instances where I may not answer a question, even if I know the answer.
Sometimes I will post my understanding of a particular subject, which could be wrong, but I certainly am not trying to be misleading. I will also post what I think, if I think it adds value, regardless if it might have a negative impact to any standing here.
@Itude, regarding your question on why I became a mod in the first place, it was entirely due to a club I am an admin for, where I needed the ability to kick people from club Live events. Once that problem was no longer an issue, I've had the mod status off and on because I like the community and assist when and where I can.

I'm a member first and foremost. If the site decided tomorrow that they no longer wanted me to be a mod, I wouldn't change one thing about the way I post. I posted the same way from as soon as I started posting in the forums, all the way up to the day I became a mod, and will continue if/when I stop being a mod.
So from 2009/10-2014 I posted the same way I do now; the only difference between then and now is that I have more access to things after becoming a mod.

Oh yes! I have devised a complicated system to find the way horsies hop! The first term in the equation in a solution of ,✓108x, the measure of the diagonal, according to the Pythagorean theorem, which is also a way of adding. So therefore, multiply by a unknown amount, and devide by the same, now assuming that my roof is purple, I'm going to measure the diagonal of the move. Now, so do boring math that I make up, and calculate the proportion of the mass of the sun compared to the moon, kick that out, and since we hear that horsie moves in a l, and l is the 12th letter of the alphabet, we have 12, and since 6+6 is 12, we simplify square roots and get a diagonal of √3. Now, since our roof is purple and purple has two syllables, 3-2=1,and we get that 2 and 1 are clues to how the horsie moves. I think I'm pretty close to finding out how horsie moves.
