Glasgow you will find is a little more refined that our Eastern countrymen. You can visit the art galleries and museums for free, you can have a Pimms no1 with crushed ice, lemonade and summer fruits in the Grosvenor hotel, you can go shopping to all the chic places, order Britains finest currys from award winning curry houses, an hours drive and you are on the banks of Loch Lomond or the Trossach hills or. . . . .you could go to Edinburgh and be accosted by an army of street urchins and beggars and students with tea cozy hats and pink flannel trousers in need of a good lecture on personal hygiene. The choice is yours.
