It's the pedal bin in the middle that fascinates me. What is supposed to go in there?
Things to moan about. Today it's about the nhs.

That's to rest your coffee cup on or put your newspaper in.

hey nomad good job stealing my ideas. i saw the daily puzzle. i dont even wake up early anymore to post there.
Just giving you a taste of your own stale medicine.
We’ve all been there. Something you bought and then wished you hadn’t.
6 weeks ago, I ordered a blood testing kit for £50. Only today, and after numerous emails and telephone calls (went to voicemail), Paypal dispute, then escalation to a claim (all of which were met with a deafening silence!), did I hear anything of it! (unless you count the standard order confirmation email) They have "technical problems" (which seem to be a regular occurance; it's not the first time they've had to suspend their services (this time they seem to have suspended more than just their services!) due to "technical problems"), and they'll refund it.
Their entire system seems to be very badly designed. There was no indication of anything wrong anywhere on their website, or their facebook and twitter pages. Seriously, you place the order and you're left to just hope it will work out (which in my recent experiences, they haven't ) I'm left to wonder what sort of technical problem led to a 6-week silence. I'm not entirely sure I believe their explanation
.
Still waiting for my money back...
^&%$ING computers. No capS LOCK SO SOMETIMES i do THIS WITHOUT KNOWING IT.
Sometimes I spend 20 minutes typing something and I hit some goodam &*^%ing button and delete the lot.
Why don't I do it in notepad?
Because it would cut and paste like %$*&.

Trading Standards might give you some help or tell you what to do next. Other than that, some home insurance policies offer free legal advice.

Never heard of Trading Standards before. Unfortunately, the company in question doesn't appear to be listed on there . So I'm not sure they'll be able to help me.
Not sure how I can get home insurance as I don't own a home .

Sorry, just found out that they no longer exist. Closed 1st April 2014.
I'll send you a PM with contact details for Citizens Advice Bureau, Consumer Services. You can email them. :)

Is it not the same Trading Standards? I searched for the company but they don't appear to be listed.
Thanks for the link. I might try that if nothing comes of my current pursuits.

That won't be necessary as I got my money back at last!
Thanks for your help anyway.

Does anyone know what the best mobile network is in the UK?
I was on Orange for years and it was fine. EE took it over and now it's rubbish. I hardy ever get a signal downstairs in my house now. I have to go upstairs and walk around the whole top floor, from one room to the next, waving my phone in the air to send a text message.

That's a shame, EE is the best signal in the Scottish Borders. They can take our freedom,,but they cannae take oor signal!
I'm not walking to Scotland to get a signal. I do enough walking up and down the stairs.

Get a stairlift kayak. Brilliant.
I'd rather just keep my phone, it fits in my pocket easier.
I'll have the one on the left, it's nearer to the paper.
