yeah I agree! fireworks hurt a lot of people and animals both mentally and physically. I really feel bad for all victims every year just because some people like to hear a boom and see some lights in the air

I never said ban all fireworks in the US. Just private use ones, and at the very least after 10 pm and/or not within 1/4 mile of houses.

I hope someone reports you and the cops confiscate those explosives lol

Tons of people don't like them, and they are illegal for private use in some states. What's wrong with just go seeing a perfectly safe, legal, and better professional display?

Didn't just stay in the hotel cause of the fireworks BTW, it is in my doordashing zone so I just doordashed straight until almost midnight. Surprisingly alot of people still ordering Ralph's ice cream and McDonald's at 11 pm LOL

Your complaint is well written. There are fireworks going off all around me right now. They are so loud I can't possibly sleep and I have a safety sensitive job to go to in the morning. The horizon is rumbling like I'm in the middle of a war. I wish I could attach some audio so you could hear this insanity.

That's why I picked a hotel next to the highway and another main road, no residences around where people generally shoot them off. The layout is also such that the window faces the hallway and another window, basically behind two layers of walls. In fact, I wish hotels would have "interior" rooms as an option in general, surrounded by just hallways. I would also make an exception for the more silent ones. Like while I was delivering food today I came down this street where the launcher was just sitting in the middle of the road, drove within 6 feet of it, and the noise wasn't that much at all. Those sonic boom ones that sound like a nuke went off are the obnoxious ones.

Well I made $157 tonight, if I can pull that again tomorrow it will offset the cost of the hotel (that's why I also picked a hotel in my favorite doordashing zone), right here, less gas spent, and more time! Tons of fireworks exploding all over as I was delivering, but haven't heard any here yet, and most stopped at 10 pm, guess people are more considerate here.

Didn't hear a sound last night, not even noisy hotel guests, nothing! Made the right choice, will do this every year on the 4th from now on. Slept so deeply am up early today let me see if I can get the breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours today. Some people prefer to dance the night away on a holiday, I prefer to dash it away.
