I’m 13 currently and I run about a 5:40 mile
I do track and I also run cross country
not to be rude, but 5:40 is not “an insanely good mile time” it’s still great though and definitely above average, but idk if you’re comparing to other runners. as for me, a sub 6 mile time is quite easy, even though i have never ran on cc or track in my life, nor have i gone on many runs.
ig i’ll include a question in this cuz it’s an ama: do you play any “other” (i don’t include running as a real sport, cuz running is just a part of every sport anyways - no offense but ill respect you less if you think it’s a sport) sports?

well even when i was in middle school, i could get sub 6:00. but ig sub 6:00 is way more common in high school and older. i’m 17 (answer my second paragraph)
