My father taught me to play chess when I was 5. He never let me win. My freshman year in high school I joined the chess club, and finally beat him. He has never won against me since then. Given the proper motivation, anyone who can reason well can play chess well.

Oh... And bishops are generally better, except in a mostly closed endgame, because two knights can attack the same square.

Maybe I prefer knight because I can handle it better then bishop , so it's my personal choice, no offence to bishop

So... It depends on the game really. When close to an endgame, one knight can sometimes out-perform one bishop. It really depends on the position, even in the middlegame, but generally bishops have faster mobility. But they are close. I think Fischer figured a bishop was worth 3.25:versus 3 for a knight.
