I wonder if anyone loves anyone unconditionally. I believe so but you can't be with someone that's hurting you. Damaging you.

Actually, it Does, Tom! .. According to 'E. Swedenborg'.. _od, does Not, so much 'punish' people, with 'Hell'.. But, they're 'drawn' to the 'lower' {nether?}, regions, on the astral plane, as a result, of where their loves lie!
No different, than a habitual 'sinner' deciding to visit a 'bordello' let's say.. Or even be a 'porn' addict.. Whereas, reading Scripture, or perhaps, attending church <- {no mind, that-that option, is a personal 'non-starter'}, does not, enter the mind.
Compared to a 'sinner' theoretically, being able to, reside in 'Heaven' {with _od}.. 'Hell' ..{according to 'Swedenborg'}, is comparatively speaking, Less harsh! - Believe it, or Not!
