I have an eleven year old son that attacks me. It's really concerning. I try everything but nothing works. He calls me the C word then kicks me. Lately bites me. Parenting is so tough.

Aspergers maybe. He's been referred for assessment. I'm scared now. He's attacking me at eleven and he's only going to get bigger. It's frightening.

I'm not the best parent in the world but I tell my children I love them. I didn't hear those words once during my whole childhood. I tell mine every day.
I think therapy sessions would help

Ah thank you. Maybe. Well I'll see what the referral brings. My main concern is his welfare but it's really hard coping with him and I hope they can help. He's so abusive.
Yea I have an autistic brother. He became a lot better after therapy.

Thank you for that idea. It's nice to have a little hope.
It's a bit scary because it's challenging as a parent of a child that's abusive. You naturally lose your cool a bit and worry that'll be frowned upon.
I'm sure many parents in my position think the way I do. Like when I'm bitten I naturally kick off. I'm only human.
