Bill Belichick

The Bills need a QB, but other than that they actually didn't look to bad this year.  They definately could have been a lot worse.

Belichick is an egomaniac?  He is the one who is responsible for all the Patriot-Humble Pie, and them not being more brash.  The Giants also played all of their starters in week 17 despite having their playoff spot locked up.  Does that make Coughlin arrogant because he wanted to be the one to stop the pefect season?  They actually had a few injuries in that game, which I guess didn't hurt them too badly.

I am pretty sure that the giants needed that win to assure they were in the post season.  But if I am wrong I could still argue that they knew they were going to be playing the next week and needed to stay sharp.  Belichick clearly valued his name in the history book more than a superbowl, because just think about this for a second, maybe that is where Brady's ankle injury started?  And really, who cares about having a perfect regular season if you aren't going to win a superbowl.

Yes (as stated prior) he keeps his team in line, but HE is classless.  You can be both you know.  I am getting the feeling that you are just a Pats fan and you feel threatened that I am attacking "your" coach.  If you could look at this impartially I am sure you would see some of my points.

MercytononeZ, all teams but NE and the Giants who had their playoff spot locked up sat their starters....

Anyway there is no doubt that I like NE because I enjoy watching defensive based teams play.  BB is no doubt a defensive minded coach(I know their offense was good as well, but that hasn't always been the case in NE).  Sure he is a little cocky, but with all the success he has endured he is relatively modest.  Oh and the Giants had indeed already locked their seeding at that point, and Brady's ankle looked just fine against Jacksonville(Maybe it got hurt on that play they showed a million times on sportscenter against San Diego?).  And if the Giants can retain their starting lineup to stay sharp why couldn't NE, especially since they had a bye the next week.  You make a valid enough arguement but ignore what you chose, maybe you're a ticked off Colts or Chargers fan.

You know as well as anyone else that if the G-men did not start all of their stars that they would not hear the end of it.  It would be "how they rolled over and just gave them the undefeated regular season".  They went out there and took it in the chin, and when all was said and done, they were still standing.  Respect them or not, they earned their re-match.

I didn't say that I didn't like the Giants, I am not a Shockey fan, but the Giants are alright.  The point of that arguement wasn't to insult the Giants but to demostrate the point that if NE had sat their starters, what would be said about them?  You can't hate on NE for playing them(and I think mercytononez agrees) and praise NY for doing the same.
