 Can be done easily:

Goto : My Home (top, left) ---->account----->Edit my privacy settings---->then down on the screen you see: Blocked Members

There you can type in the name of the player to be blocked.

If you blocked a player then that player cannot "track" you anymore

Regards, Peter

Thanks, Peter, I really appreciate it. I couldn't have done it without your help. Huh. Over it. Now I guess the member will set  up a new profile and try it all over again:)

How come that after blocking someone I still get messages from the person????That is awkward!!How do you make it impossible for a person to get in contact with you here on chess.com? It seems easier on other sites.

Interesting.  I don't suppose you've made them a 'friend'?  That might over ride your adding them to your 'block' list.  (you could edit them off your friends list, if that were the case)

No, first I deleted the person from my friends then I blocked him, then I got a message from him....

The person, who did that, obviously knows that. It seems to be sorted though...

Want to block a certain KLASSU russian player. Moved twice in a short space of time without my move in between. This, apart from being TRICKY COULD ALSO BE QUALIFIED OF CRACKING THE SYSTEM: FOR HOW DOES HE/SHEYellFrown DO IT? BESIDES FROM BEING UNFAIR, MUST BE UNDERSTOOD HOW EASY IT IS TO GET HIGHER IN POINTS DOING THIS ABUSIVE PRACTICE. HOW CAN I BLOCK THIS PERSON? WENT TO THE BLOCKING PAGE (THAT SHOULD BE MORE AVAILABLE FOR ENTRYING IN) AND WAS OUT OF USE JUST MINUTES AGO. THANKS FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION. HELP AND EXPLANATION IS REQUIRED.

Gosh I just went over your game and for the life of me I can't see anywhere he would have moved twice.  Is there a possibility that he premoved and you're just a little confused?  If you've never heard of premoves, this article will explain:
