I usually stick with Light or Buddha for grinding since they're fast and make things easier. For PvP, Dark and Dough can be really strong if you know how to use them.

AND I just server hop a lot during stock times and check the Blox Fruit Dealer and also the spawn points. That’s how to get rare fruits fast without spending too much time grinding.
Also, using a private server helps because fruit spawns every hour, and you don’t have to fight other players for it. I’ve found some good ones just lying around after 1 or 2 hops.
hard to get and dragon has a lot of knockback while farming
honestly I think smoke/light for 1st sea sea, Buddha/light for 2nd sea, and Buddha and venom for 3rd sea
1st sea
Smoke has the c move which does damage after impact, you can also fly with it. Very cheap too.
Light is easy to get every move is op, has flight and does not cost a lot for a 1st sea player.
2nd sea
Buddha is really expensive but you can get it easily from stock. If you have light farm seabeasts with the flight move and high damage for money, or you could just scam a lvl 800 who doesn't know how to trade for it. Very op but you'll get bullied for using it
Light, same reason for 1st sea. Except that you can awaken it and pvp with it too
3rd sea
Buddha same as 2nd sea except that now you will probably rely on sea beasts and money, can use Buddha for a lot of bosses and raid bosses too like indra for example.
Venom isn't a popular option because it's expensive and has high mastery requirements, but if ur a no-life grinder you can use venom for running from bounty hunters while grinding, very annoying effect for the X move can annoy little kids. Good transformation C move and a lot of burn damage. If you reach max level with this, you should pvp with it. I used to 1v1 pvper riwikii all the time and his tip was to use venom and Yama. Brought me from 5m bounty to 13m bounty. (The account got suspended you can find me in his 2023 videos like the fox shrine live streams my username was frxsh).
Imo
1st place - Buddha
2nd place - Light
3rd place - Venom
