To all my dear friends,

I need to leave chess.com for a while, due to exams. I've enjoyed every minute spent with all of you, but I really need more time to focus on my revision.

My exams finish in June, so hopefully I will make a new account around then. (I'll probably be called @Alice-Kitty again, unless anyone else has stolen it lol!).

My club, Chess like a Tiger, is now owned my @aminson12345. If he doesn't want it, then I trust him to hand it over to someone suitable. Please keep being active in my absence - the club has such a wonderful community of people!

For those of you who know KJL - I'm very sorry to leave you. The work you do is incredible and I hope you'll let me rejoin in a couple of months. I like to think I've helped make a difference, but to be honest, I'm not sure!

To my besties - I'll miss you more than you will ever know. The many hours spent chatting have been invaluable, and I know our ties are strong enough to be separated a short while. One day, I hope to meet some of you in person - you are all amazing people: so accomplished, friendly and delightful to be around!

I beg of you all not to send my DMs - I'll never be able to bring myself to close my account if you do! I was going to close a couple of hours ago, but I have been begged (and threatened lol!) to wait a few hours.

I promise you that the reason for leaving is completely my own decision - no-one else's fault! I'm so fond of you all, and I miss you already!!
