Can chess.com close your account if you have membership?

I was wondering if cheaters who cheat thought that their account wouldn’t get closed because they have membership, they would keep using this technique to cheat. If their account does get closed, wouldn’t they get angry and say that they paid? Would they get a refund?

Yes they do get closed, no refund 

one of my online friends once cheated and lied to me and said that they didnt cheat. It was obvious, I can tell that they're using a bot

No, I played unrated because they were my friend. They have been playing rated against other players and their account got closed a few hours later. They were angry and told me that it's chess.com's fault that their account got closed for playing a game with no mistakes and blunders.
