Don't know. It's been amputated, but he's been living with it for 6 or 7 years. When he gets older we may have to put him down as he is putting on weight, so he may feel pain, we tried dieting but it didn't work. Anyway for the current time he's grand, though.
We don't over feed him, the problem is he leaves the house to go around the neighbour hood. If we keep him in he just lies in a corner and wails.
Anyway we have tried to stop this behaviour, and tried dieting but it never works. He can't really do much exercise anyway because of his Leg, or lack thereof.
Chicken jelly packets, 1 each day for breakfast, and any scraps after dinner. (Usually not that many if any at all) and then sometimes a handful of cat nuts before we put him outside.
He is fed 1 main meal a day by us, along with a few snacks and scraps. However some neighbours may or may not feed him.
He stays outside most of the time, strolling about, and used to leave the garden a lot. Now he does not do so as much. Apart from that mainly sleeping until he comes inside (during the winter) at about 6 in which he either walks around meowing or sleeps.
I've tried exercising and play with him, or at least try to, but he isn't ussualy in the mood.
Oh, I'm so sorry for you really, I didn't see that.
