Do you know what I find is funny… As when people are rude, for no reason whether they call you weak, the move, whatever it is. Everyone makes mistakes and to me it’s just awesome that so many people are playing chess. For those that are challenge articulately I feel bad for you that you’re only expression is to call people names in the game that should be sophisticated and encouraging

Idk, it sometimes leads to getting another Chess.com friend. I recently played a game and had the option to force a draw because I was losing. The chat:
"If you draw you are g@y" - them
"ok" - me
"maybe i am" - me
"maybe i'm not" - me
"That statement is wild" - them
I decided to not draw and they accidentally blundered their queen.
"lol i'm glad i didn't draw" - me
"just you wait" - them
Literally the same move he said that, i took his rook which blundered my queen, but i still had a little advantage.
"see?" - them
"I'm still winning" - me
"we are equal" - them
"not for long" - me
"ok" - them
I then accidentally lost a pawn.
"blunder lol" - them
"nuh uh" - me
"ok lol" - them
"i've got a plan, John" - me
"bet" - them
After like 10 moves I trap my rook and blunder my knight. He begins to try to promote his pawn. I attempt to stop it with my rook.
"you can't get all the way around in time" - them
I then stop the pawn and he begins to move his other two pawns forward. I manage to stop 1 but fail to stop the other.
"gg" - them
"nuh uh" - me
"ok lol" - them
I let him promote the pawn I stopped a few moves before, in exchange for his bishop. He then begins checking me and starts to try to promote his other pawn, which i move my king over to stop. He begins to try to checkmate me and accidentally stalemates.
"I'm so dumb" - them
It was the funniest moment in Chess I'd ever seen and we are now Chess.com friends.
