chess.com blocked in certain locations

My chess.com doesn't work when I'm in certain places, a notification comes up saying it's blocked at my location. What is the cause of this?
chess.com showing me some system errors. may be you have the same problem due to technical problems.

I am having the same issue on my iPhone app. I tried removing the app and reinstalling and that still didn't fix it.

Make sure the time is set to 'Set Automatically'. Otherwise it will falsely assume stuff and won't work.
As per MELTY Enforcement Agency of india, they are telling that Chess.com is a betting website and they have issued notice to block out in India. Many WiFi providers have already blocked it. Why is this happening?
Chess.com blocked by few ISP in india. Eg. Hathway as nikhil kamat was banned by chess.com
Extremely unfortunate this has happed.
