chess.com censorship: is it going too far?

Actually, that would be a good idea, but it would require extra mod manpower. I guess the site wasn't willing to invest the extra time.

Well, this is the interwebz - There's no way for me to know that unless you add a "jk" or a winking thingy on the end of the statement. :-)

I think this forum needs a bot - or just a mod to lock it.

That would be their call. It wouldn't bother me either way. However, there are one or two people who might not agree with me. ;-)

A lot of arguing

Well, the thread *was* moved to "Off Topic", which makes it harder to sustain thread contributions and takes it out of the spotlight a bit.

Do you have something against arguing?

I got mad when it didn't respond to my interrogations, so I took it down.

I agree with Andrea. As a fellow female I enjoy an intelligent conversation on other topics other than chess. Sadly with all the children on this site it is difficult to find!

Those little kids love talking about clubs and teams, and points and views.

And us older kids love nonsense.

You mean OTHER than chess? There is way to much of that stuff on here. I think there was a post in another thread that said this site was 99% troll threads and 1% chess or something like that.

@AunTheKnight- Forgive JackRoach he doesn't understand the benefits of good grammar or have the ability to hold an adult conversation. He's good at reporting sick players though. A real tough guy!
