If that’s true, that’s a poor decision to block him rather than ignore him or point out the flaws in his posts.

Luckily, no one was talking to you. Just because I told you that you shouldn’t post about trolls on the forums doesn’t mean you have to go out of your way to show your dislike for me. Plus, I don’t even really know you. Thank u, next.

I didn't even say who bruv
And now another point -
if you see somebody spamming as you say Zun did
you can report them yourself. Anybody can.
More than one way to do that too.
I agree, however, reporting isn't always affective. The day before this incident, Zunayed, was reported for creating about 4 and a half pages of spam posts in one thread. Nothing was done about it and he was allowed to continue. Resulting in the ops thread getting locked.
I think they might lock a thread if they regard the situation as out of control for whatever reason in whatever way.
They may hold off on muting somebody for whatever reason too.
Is it the job of the moderators to manage forums for opening posters when they're not around?
I don't think they could do that if they wanted to.
There's far too many forums for that.
----------------------
Locking doesn't really 'pick a side'.
Because a forum might get unlocked.
Whereas muting might be more likely to be perceived as 'partisan'.
I think overall the moderators do a good job and deserve our support and respect.
Its my experience that the moderators do a fairer job than many clubs too.
And that fits.
Obviously the moderators have to be carefully selected by the website - they essentially represent the whole website.
And the website is in a much better position to establish good standards than the clubs are - where the clubs often go by just popularity alone to make their policy and decisions.
Could someone inform me on who this carl fellow is?
It couldn't be carlsen could it?
I used to be KingOfBrilliancy.
