I am waaay used to and more leaning to Chess.com now. Been playing here forever. Used to the UI. And Chess.com has better game analysis tools.
Once upon a time, the mods would delete any messages that contained the word "lichess". Now there is a thread active in the forums that have been here for hours and no one does anything??
I certainly hope that nobody complains about the thread not getting deleted. That would be...weird...
Years ago, before chess.com existed, I was playing correspondence on several sites. Forum posts on one site started running down another site, claiming the developer was a disgruntled expatriate and that the site he had created was inferior.
I checked for myself and made the switch. That first site still looks about how it did in 2003. So does the second, but it has continually made improvements. Both of them lack the means to close the accounts of cheaters as readily as chess.com and lichess.
Does lichess even offer correspondence, though?
Chess.com, of course!
