I was really excited to join. Had a horrible experience. The first person I encountered was an open homophobe and being extremely toxic. Others just joined in and encouraged it. I was targeted and bullied for trying to say homophobia isn’t okay and that people around the world are literally with less civil rights, arrested and even murdered for being gay. Over a dozen countries have literal death sentences for gay people. Uganda recently passed a law making it legal to kill gay people. And these users were laughing about it and targeting me for saying homophobia was wrong. There was no mod leadership or anything. What a horrible experience. Someone seriously needs to hold that type of behavior accountable and stop it. I can handle people with different views than me no problem. But I don’t like when someone is advocating for the death of innocent people, especially when everyone is doing it and bullying me for sticking up for them.

A set of rules has been set in place as of August 30 to prevent anything like this from happening again. If anyone says or does anything wrong now, they will most likely, if not certainly, get punished or penalized for it. That is, if I'm right to think this.

What about transphobia? What is your policy on transphobia in that server?

Anti-LGBT is against the rules on that server, so therefore, transphobia, which I would assume is the same as anti-transgender, is forbidden. Needless to say, a transphobic person who tries to spread their transphobic beliefs there will supposedly get punished or penalized for it.

Be careful with the h word because there people who aren't bullies who want to respectfully hold a bible based disagreement that isn't personal towards you.
Here's a part KJV Romans chapter 1 (verse 22-32)

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

It seems clear that you don't have a very good understanding of the Bible, considering how the passage is in reference to a literal cult. You're giving religious folks a bad name with your out-of-date ideas. Discrimination against any group is not permitted on this site, you know.

tankbattalion

hitthepin you are being a bigot to religious people. it doesn't matter what someone wants the bible to say, that's literally chapter 1 romans.

hitthepin

Now you begin to toss insults at me? That's a sign of rather low maturity, first off, and a revealing of your incorrect ideas second. Do you have no understanding of what context is? It seems that you are the one cherry-picking statements to make the Bible say what you want to say.

Now, then. I know how this goes. I'm not going to waste any more of my time here. 2 Timothy 2:23: "Don't have anything to do with foolish arguments." Neither of us should even be discussing religion on this site, anyway. Good day to you, sir.

Here's a picture of Mathew Henry's 1710 commentary about the bit i posted.
