This is off topic in the off topic area of the forums.
Hmm... interesting...
The URL of this thread says "chess27," yet a thread with the same title that I created 5 months ago (to find out how many threads titled "chess" have been created on these forums) was numbered 147:

That number should have meant that my thread was the 147th thread with that title created. Yet for some reason, your thread, which was created later, was given a much smaller number.
The only explanation seems to be that sometime over these 5 months, the original chess27 was deleted, and the vacated URL was recycled for this thread.
Edit: Actually, nevermind. My thread was created under General Chess Discussion. This one is under Off-topic. That would explain the numbering.
