I'm just creating this thread out of curiosity, to see how many threads titled "Chess" have been created on chess.com. It's possible to tell from the number at the end of this thread's URL.

Well, it's 147, or 146 before this thread. If anyone else was interested like I was, well, now you know.

The position on the board in that ancient thread is strange.. Where was whites' Queen on the previous move before it delivered the mate? It must have been on f6 or f8 where it was en prix..

I think it should read "big, Edward." Alas, English is a foreign language to most native speakers, as well as to everyone else.

Here's chess27, created 5 months after my thread:

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/chess27

Like I mentioned in that thread, I think what happened was that the original chess27 was deleted, and the URL was recycled.

Edit: I just noticed that chess27 was created in the Off-topic forum, while mine was created under General Chess Discussion. That would explain the numbering.
