a thing that will eventually keep chess.com back is the fact that there are no engine kibitzers for viewers on live chess to toggle on as they watch people play. both ICC and playchess have this feature and it is likely a large reason why a lot of people find themselves using those sites/servers and not chess.com.
it would actually be extremely helpful to a lot of people if chess.com did have this feature since ICC and playchess require the user to download and install windows only software.
It is the only reason I use ICC and playchess more than chess.com now.
it would be extremely helpful to have a web-based option and it doesn't really make much sense that it doesn't already exist (unless there is some technical/computer aspect to doing this which makes it difficult or impossible).
