The European CHESSMINTON Championships (ECC) will take place this and next weekend! It is a UNIQUE tournament!
- Age classes U13/U15/U19: July 26 in Waghäusel (close to Heidelberg), Germany,
- Any age: July 27 in Waghäusel (close to Heidelberg), Germany,
- Age classes U25 and 35+/45+: August 2 in Tamm (close to Stuttgart), Germany;
Singles, doubles, mixed doubles and team event (at least 2 male plus 1 female player) are played.

Chessminton is played in the following way:
1st phase: blitz chess game (5 minutes without increment)
2nd phase: badminton game up to 11 points
3rd phase: badminton game up to 11 points
4th phase: blitz chess game (5 minutes without increment)
The chess games are scored in the range from to depending on the winner's time (if the winner wins within 30 seconds, it is ; if the winner wins after using more than 4 min 30 sec, it is ). The draw is scored as for Black. The points from all phases are summed up to get the final result.
