In an arena where one can find a topic suitable to his interests around any corner, and, if not, one can create such a topic, it's a bizarre curiosity that one would continually comment in a thread to avow his disinterest in the discussed topic.

I don't see why anyone would bother recognizing that  standards here have dropped and then add to the problem.  You don't like a thread?  Ignore it.  Even mildly complaining about a thread on that very thread makes little sense.

I'd rather discuss music than almost anything.  I was never a beach boy fan but they were very popular in places like Florida and California and anywhere surfer music was.  I was a fan of and still play 50's and 60's music.  Those were my first lessons in guitar and the style of my first band.

Actually the Beach Boys weren't the focus in any of the music, comments, or links I've posted here. The focus was completely on the Wrecking Crew. Their work with Brian Wilson (and, of course with the ill-fated Phil Spector), put them in the spotlight. So the Beach Boys were being used as the lens, not the subject.   I really owe @Wits-end a shout out for bringing them up. Before that, they were just something in my peripheral vision, but now, after looking somewhat deeply into this group of musicians, I've become more aware of their contributions and their influence on the 1960s popular music.  I think I've benefited more from this thread than anyone.

Yep his whole "I don't like this so you nor anyone shouldn't like them either, stop making blogs about it" is rather bizarre.
