You are more than welcome to talk about whatever you want in the Open Discussion club I mentioned.
The point is that even though one thinks chess is more important, life will tell them sooner or later it is not.
Or conversly, one simply doesn't understand how important it is to talk about life, so escaping into chess, some of them become moderators.
Because if one truly understood the complexities life with its sufferings, they will never close the door to such discussions.But one is not aware of the full spectrum of suffering: now, just become one's npt aware doesn't mean suffering is any less painful, for most people.
There are help lines you can call if you really want to talk about life; speaking to someone in person would be far more helpful than on a community forum such as this, especially since it is on a chess site and not a "let's talk about life" site.
I see that you haven't played any actual games of chess here, so why don't you try that instead of insulting the moderators? That sort of thing never ends well.

It appears the moderator doesn't understand what religious topics are. Talking about life seems religious to him.
But no one is propagating any formal religion here. We're just talking, there's no agenda. This is what happens when you think chess is more important than life.
