One of the best (in my opinion) is Deathnote.
True, I've watched Death Note. It's awesome, I couldn't miss any scene in it :3 (I personally think L is adorable!!)

Omg hana to akuma needs to be made into an anime!! Tears were she'd reading that and I'm usually not that emotional!
Stiens;gate is personally one of the coolest anime EVER because it inolves time travel, great character, and the plot line is spectacular. The start is slow so stay with it until it picks up or you'll regret it. Also probably my favorite anime opening of all time.
