Corrupt a Wish

In this game, you corrupt the above poster's wish, and then make a wish of your own.

Ex: I wish for a million dollars.

Granted! But you get it by robbing a bank.

I wish for a laptop.

Granted! But it is a 2004 model.

I wish for an ice cream cone.

Wish granted! You get an ice cream cone, but it's stale, tastes awful, and has no ice cream in it. It's just the cone.

I don't know why, but this game isn't popular here.

I wish it was popular here.

Granted, but all the other threads become more popular.

I wish that my internet was faster.

Granted. You get a faster internet connection, but they also decided to charge a high price for the faster connection. You and your family couldn't afford it, so you're stuck with the slower connection.

I wish the alien overlords would allow us to have more fun.

Granted, but only for a day.

Granted. A bunch of trolls come in and derail the thread. Nobody plays Corrupt a Wish because the trolls keep ruining the game.

I wish everybody is well fed.

Granted, but nobody has water to drink.

I wish that there was world peace.

Granted. The alien overlords decide to exterminate anybody with a dissenting voice. People couldn't fight back, so they resigned themselves to listen and obey everything the overlords told them. Through enslavement, we have world peace.

I wish everything was free.

Granted, but people start getting countries and other planets for "free", and war breaks out.

I wish I had photographic memory.

Granted. You'd wish you didn't, because you begin to see things you wished you could forget. Now you see those things everywhere, and it drives you into a mental institution.

I wish i could run like the wind.

Granted, but then you would run so fast you couldn't see where you were going, run into something, and kill yourself.

I wish I could play a certain concerto perfectly.

Wish granted, you could play it as you now have the skill. Unfortunately you don't have any arms.

I wish the whole worlds internet would seize up and never work again.

Granted. Everybody loses the internet, and it can't be fixed. Someone wishes to know what happened, and your information is given. They all show up at your home and take it out on you. In a few years, a new system called the 'Superweb' is developed which has replaced the internet.

I wish the weather was always nice.

Granted, but after a few years, everyone gets so tired of having nice weather all the time.

I wish I was a chess grandmaster.

Granted. You become a chess grandmaster, but cheaters ruin the game, and now no one plays.

I wish everybody was intelligent.
