I like watching that show for entertainment (although all of them can be too mean to each other at times). However, I should let you know that it is a "fake" show. The shop in Las Vegas is a real pawn shop, but the tv show interactions are all actors bringing in items the shop "already owns." It is just good tv, but the negotiations, personalities and such are all fabricated; to be honest, I was a bit let down when I discovered this out for the first time.
For example, do you think Rick or "the old man" would really be behind the counter themselves when they have paid staff to do that job for them? I still like that show, but it is just entertainment; this is also why they are so rude to another and pull so many pranks and things: it is all for the tv show.
Guy seems rude to his elders. You’d think most guys into antiquities, numismatics and old toys and other cool $h1t would play chess. I bet he doesn’t. I like to play Rick.
