The best parts of my days are usually just  salads 🥗 And I  have not seen any progress on the side of the pandemic coming towards salad eaters so far. 🤷

Pretty much every day i get home from the gym and i fry up 3 strips of bacon, dice up 2 hard boiled eggs.  make a big ole salad with spinach leaves, and all those healthy greens.  And top it off with Pink Himalayan salt, coarse ground black pepper, and this awesome chipotle ranch dressing.

And i add an avocado some time and olive oil and half a cucumber and a tomato and sardines lol....

I need meat or i get dizzy and weak....

I have tried avocados and cant eat them.  Its a texture thing.

I do add olive oil, or avocado oil to my salad dressing.

I love cucumbers with onions in vinegar and water as a snack.

Again a texture thing, but i cant eat tomatoes.  But chop them up into small pieces and thats ok.

Apologies for going back on topic, but a preliminary study from the UK has brighter news about booster shots against Omicron, giving around 85% protection against severe illness.

No need to apologize.  @power_9_the_people and I were talking about healthy eating and lifestyle.  Those things go a long way towards great health.  Which in turn helps the immune system fight things.

Exactly! And I  think some people will realize it's a  good idea vitamin D. Omicron reproduces 70 times faster in the bronchi than previous variants

You can overdo anything.  Education is key.

That is true but I was taking too much D and was cautioned by a nurse.

The only thing i know i will occasionally take to much of is Beta-Alinine.   You get a "tingly" feeling.

Ron I am completely ok with however people decide to deal with this.   But when professional sports is allowed to go about their business mask free, but im mandated to wear a mask?  And some wonder why there is such a HUGE outbreak of covid in professional sports.  Gonna sound like a broken record again here, but i think it needs to be said.  I do not wear a mask at work.  I do not wear a mask st church.  I do not wear a mask at the gym.  Not a SINGLE case of covid at any of those places.

I would imagine like everyone we all know people that have shut down, and are scared to death of this.  I'm sure we all know people that are on the exact opposite end that thinks this is all a hoax, and the govt. is trying to control us and chip us.  I would hope that most people are like me here.  I'm in the middle.  Is their a virus?  Yes.  Are their segments of society that need to be careful? Yes.  Is their something wrong with people being threatened with their jobs if they don't get vaxed/wear masks, but professional sports is allowed to go on mask less?  Yes.

As usual money rules the day.  Just my .02

I'm pretty much the same way as you buddy. I've never gotten tested. I see no need to. I felt fine in the past year. It does show where our priorities are. Hundreds of thousands of people are dying but Football is important.frustrated.png

It's actually surreal when you see the news and various media and people are clamoring for all the Covid measures to end while 800,000 people are dead.  But people don't see it personally, and a lot of people are dumb.  They can see the entire fishing village running and screaming, but until the tidal wave hits them, they won't believe anything is wrong.

Here's the solution...start bussing all the naysayers to overworked hospitals and have them bust their behinds for a week trying to help the medical professionals...

Do you know any nurses?  I do, and she, like a metric ton of nurses, is considering whether she wants to continue in a profession where she is working like a slave day in and day out to protect and save a bunch of people who just don't give a crap about anyone else.

It's like the civil war is happening, but people are yawning and saying "can't this just go away already?".

RonaldJosephCote

I don't know any nurses personally but yeah, I'm hearing more than 1 news report about a lot of medical professionals just calling it quits because the're so burnt out from the past yr and a half. sad.png  Even when you save their life, they don't have the decency to say thank you. frustrated.png

70% in reanimation didn't get any vaccine....and 20% of the nurses already did quit in my province and the worst is coming...and the emergency are at 150% right now.
