Guys...please stay on topic before this gets locked too
This is on topic, stop trying to police stuff. He's saying areas with the largest death rates have certain policies.
If he wants to provide evidence that's fine. Otherwise it's just nonsense.

Like NY city and New Orleans.
Large cities get overrun, too, but as in the case of NY, it takes weeks for that to happen...or it should. Gov Cuomo was calmly able to articulate exactly when the ventilators would be running out, because he can see that trend develop. In a small community with localized cases the immediately available resources can become overloaded in a day or two and there's no warning. One day you have hospital beds and ventilators, and the next day you can be already out and deciding who will go without one.
If a large city already has a dangerous lack of equipment or bed space, or can't learn to count , then that's just negligence, and I guess this outbreak will expose those communities pretty fast. Which is not to say that larger cities won't get overrun anyway over time, but there should be ample time to see it coming and it should not be a surprise.
Its Larado not the whole state. You can tell by the politics of the city managers where the death rates are the highest
What are the political parties of the city managers in the highest date rate communities in Texas? This sounds like a worthwhile case study if there is actually data to support this. Are we talking about like-size communities with similar age demographics, etc., or urban vs. rural communities, retirement communities vs. college towns, etc.?
[Let's ask the questions and give everyone the benefit of the doubt...people will either prove out their claims or they won't, and it will become clear over time where "nonsense" lies or doesn't lie without having to explicitly declare it. If a poster repeatedly makes statements/claims that they can't/won't back up, then by the time someone ends up getting blocked people will already know they aren't supporting any of their suppositions anyway.]
We(US) waited too long to take steps to lessen the blow and now our healthcare system is under attack and on the verge of crumbling. The next couple weeks are going to be a nightmare.
Ecuador not Equador in the earlier post. I can't believe no one raked me over the coals for that slip. LOL

It's like I was saying on the old thread...I think spelling and grammar nazis gave up about a decade ago, because, you know, irregardless and for all intensive purposes people nowadays are going to spell how they want to, and its not like you're first option is to reconstitute Marshall Law or something...

I've seen many people quoting stats like this, but almost nobody, except for the Worldometers site, states the numbers per a 1 million population base. At times, I really despise the news media...
