Notes to somebodies in particular:-
This Thread continues to be somewhat informative, but you continue to show bias towards political Posts.
You castigate The WA contributor, whilst ignoring your Canadian friend, who is the most politically active poster on this Thread and doesn't bother to hide it.
If you wish to control the narrative on a topic you start, I gather you have that lattitude. If you actually do want open dialogue, you cannot shut down opinions you disagree with. History is riddled with tyranny and one of the first things to be shut down is free speech. If you wish to have a functioning free society, you must allow people to express their opinions to gain understanding. We should never be afraid of the truth. In my quest to find truth, I have found I was wrong on some things and right on others and many times it was because I allowed myself and sometimes forced myself, to actually listen to something or someone that ran counter to preconceived notions or bias. I often didn't like what the truth was, but I have found it is better to know the truth, than live a lie. I believe everyone can contribute and that you can learn something from everybody, whether it is considered positive or negative.
My challenge to you is to take the heavy hand off this thread and let it resolve itself on its own volition. As to the picture I posted of Mr. Fauci, what do you see here? A picture can say it all and it does. Actions often speak louder than words and there is no clearer example of hypocracy than this.
I am also a person who had covid and what I experienced was flu like symptoms with extreme fatigue as being the worst of it. I have actually had flu strains worse than covid. To conclude, I am a truth seeker and there are others like me who are truth seekers. I despise nearly all politicians both right and left and the money that funds their agendas. Yes, I do believe there is an agenda and that many have become drunk with power. These pet camelons take on whatever color their owners pick.
I see an opportunistic photo of somebody with their mask down, but I am also smart enough to realize that if you follow someone around long enough, a photo like that is inevitable. More telling is the hundreds of such photos being passed around...rather than actually talking about Covid, certain people just want to say "see, the other side is full of it".
I couldn't care less that you had mild Covid symptoms. Even 85 year olds have an 85% survival rate, lest you forget. But there are...lets doublecheck...450,000 dead in the US. And yes, 99.5% of that number are dead *from Covid-19*. The numbers are correct. Your personal experience doesn't override that.
Here's how free speech relates to this topic...I will use an image, your preferred medium:
My challenge to you is to make worthwhile posts. I will give you the "lattitude" to prove that you are not a "camelon" yourself...because right now I think you are the one closer to "hypocracy" than Fauci
