Covid19 and chess around the World!

I live in seclusion with basically no social contacts...No impact towards me as I play chess and use the internet to keep myself from boredom...

Honestly, its going to be hard for top players to return to OTB chess, according to Hikaru Nakamura and other players (I forgot which stream exactly). Because they can play from home (like the Magnus Carlsen Chess Tour) and still get a lot of money, what's the incentive for them to travel when they could play from home. That's what a couple of them said anyways.

An interesting point. I believe OTB will always hold more prestige and will never get overshadowed by online chess...but I can definitely see some people not caring and just chillin at the house. Especially masters with families
I could be mistaken but I've noticed a lot of new comers in Chess.com site. Most of them have enrolled after the pandemic.
