i once had one someone chopped my head off and i was still walkin just without a head... crazy

Avatar of Aramista

walkin' without a head makes more sense than, rich, first getting a knife off someone and then stabbing them in the heart - WOW!  what did you use? your teeth?     Cool

sister, brother, nieces or nephews, Dad, Oscar, sleep walking, and fear of progress - this could be fun to link with a Freudian analysis dealing with repressed family expectations i.e. your Dad had his back turned to you and you were dealing with sleep walking i.e. progress toward some objective but you woke up before you could actually do the sleep walk

have you considered developing the plot a bit more and then offering the synopsis to Stephen King?   Cool

I am very big into dreams but will not post anything of them here. That said for those interested by dreams who would like to take them further but have never tried, give the mentioned below a go on a daily basis and see what happens. Repitition is key..

Keep a dream journal and write upon waking. Make mental note before falling to sleep to recall dreams as well as to question yourself when you suspect you are dreaming (is this a dream?). Upon noting you are in a dream look at/for your hands and ask for *clairity Now* and have fun with the lucidity that follows.. There is much more but I leave it at that.. Happy travels  (;

 Knatted  and  Amnesiac you both have great ideas - recognising that we do have options to manage our dream states for our and others good is the first step the next step is developing the determination to use rational steps beforehand to go further ...   Wink

is anyone around a Silva Method graduate ?   Cool

Knatted-I have tried keeping dream journals, the only problem is when you wake in the middle of the night. You can't leave it till morning or you'll forget but then you have to turn a light on and can't get back to sleep.

 Amnesiac, as many people have found making notes about your dreams during the night works well but that is not the issue - going back to a sleep/dream state is ...

developing the ability to assume a relaxed body/mind is not difficult in fact it can be done with stimulus/response training during the day by starting with a simple body mind exercise of clenching your fist, firmly not going to extremes, then very very slowly allowing your hand to open over about a minute - make a mental note about your experience, do this about three times a day, and then after about a week do the same thing with one of your feet, then a week later with another muscle group ... let your own body/mind be your best teacher   Cool

Amnesiac- hmmm... there is a lot going on in your dreams and even in your waking life

there are as many ways of exploring and giving rational explanations for dreams as there are individuals on this planet - how ever there are enough similarities to give credence to "Jungian Archetypes", look them up - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archetype

one tried and true method of getting benefit from exploring our dreams is to keep two journals - one for your dreams and one for your rational waking life - at some time depending on your own nature and desire/s you will be able to recognise a co-relation between the two - use of coloured pencils, crayons, soft lead pencils can help with bringing life to your journals

equally important is to seek from your own good sense and judgement a determination to form future ideals that you can use for your journey in life and bring them into reality - as this happens it is likely that your dreams will be guided and formed from your desires rather than random emotions - you can be the leader and manager of great benefits for both yourself and those who are important in your life   Cool

 Amnesiac - what an amazing dream with wonderful clarity and full of most interesting and different images - is this a dream or an imagined dream?   Cool
