Critical thinking AS

Did anyone else from the UK do the critical thinking AS exam today (14th Jan)?

Quite a nice paper I thought, the question 5 (credibility of sources, with the "if statements") was worth more marks than usual which was a tad delightful.

The whole topic of the Philadelphia experiment was quite interesting to me, it was a conspiracy theory that had never reached my ears before.

I recommend you watch the film if you can get it to see it.

Critical Thinking? Didn't know they were doing Mickey Mouse subjects for A-Levels as well as University Courses these days. :p

Good luck anyway with your exams and grades etc etc.

Lol Alaric, i mean critical thinking is a waste of life... it's an As, i know it's the easiest one, but ffs, it doesn't mean anything :P all the reader people that think they're good do it (no offence ;P). You get spaztics that when they want to lift their hand up they like put it on their head and rub it through their face until they gain notice... Geez... Most pathetic subject ever invented - absolute waste of an hour ^^ Instead you could be playing chess, or some other good game - e.g. poker :)

Incorrect, it has the highest grade boundries of any AS  subject. Second hardest is aparently human biology.

In answer to mad_dog's comment: yeah I know it is a bit of a wierd thing to pick, but it is just a little extra for me. I'm also doing Further Maths (I adore it), physics and chemistry.

Wtf Al? It's 1 lessons a week? U don't even have to come prepaired to lessons, what it is, is just knowing what's going on in the world, knowing have to write bullshit and most importantly have some common sense, sorry but that isn't as hard as having like 4 lessons a week, brining 3 pages of hwrk for every second lesson or having a 4 page essay everyweek... but ye... critical thinking is soooo damn hard :P

To be fair, that might just be because the marks are easier to get. It's how it worked back in my day. *nods*

Well yes the lesson and exams are fairly easy going, but it is because of that fact that the markers are incredibly picky. A's are hard to achive because you need to get near full marks.
cloudjubei
Well, is it hard compared to the amount of stuff you need to know for other subjects?
Lord-Svenstikov
It is if you factor in the time spent on it. The content:time ratio will be higher in it.
