Thanks for your comments John. You may be right, and if i'm the only member in 6 months time it will cease to be. I have posted on the band forum which may attract new people to chess.com so we'll just have to see if it is worthwhile or not ...

PS I think Time on Earth is a great album but it is a 'grower' and it probably depends on your outlook on life as to wether someone would like it or not. It is quite dark and touches on issues such as suicide (she called up) and dementia (silent house) so i can appreciate that it would not be everyones cup of tea.

It would be one way to pass the time on those long bus journeys between gigs, especially in America!

If you check out my group "The Crowded House Chess Club" you will see an image of Neil at a chess board, but it's just a publicity shot. The man certainly has the brains to make good music so i bet he would be a good chess player if he put his mind to it!
