mmmm......I think concentration spans are getting shorter for sure. Perhaps we are in a regression phase.
I blame mobile phones, abbreviations & 'I can say it all in a single sentence' generation as being a form of communication just slightly higher than my dogs communication pattern.

I got farther than after they were talking about that one guy who kept that one thing from under the chair, and had it for a "momento". Then something about French wife not letting him go to Fischers funeral...
I thought she was pretty lame for that. Then about Fischer whispering over the phone telling him to not go to the doctor..he said He had no fear, doctors spoke russian...or was that before the funeral bit.
There were other words after that, found myself thinking about
the russian dance..
then I kept getting interrupted...yada yada yada..SQUIRREL!!!
