I find chess just a fictitious land of war and land and friendship and allies. All construed into a single game. If I grow an emotional attachment to all of my pieces and feel empathy for enemy pieces, it seems more real in my mind. Try it.

2. You’d need context. How did he get to that path. And where is he now. Where does that path further lead him
3. Find your own accounting for this
