They sound like decent stats to me for a 37 year old shortstop. Don't forget the Gold Glove in 2010. Jeter is and has been awesome throughout his career. You cannot be 25 forever. If he continues to get around 170 hits/year for 3 more years ... that will give him 3,600 career hits. Nobody presently in the game will ever do that.
