do you like shooting guns?
I'm a very nonviolent person and I love firearms. They're a part of my culture. They're a part of me.
The vast majority of firearm owners value human life and don't go around shooting people. People who don't value human life make most of the headlines. It seems to me it's the value system that needs to be fixed.
I've never shot one before because I'm afraid I'll accidentally blow out my hearing
I've lost some high frequency, mostly in my left ear, from years of shooting without ear protection. I've been wearing ear protection for many years now.
Why would I shoot guns? They haven't done anything to me. People on the other hand ...
The first firearm I shot? I have no idea. That would be about sixty years ago. I've shot a few since then.
My guns are pacifists. They mean no harm to anyone. In fact, they’ve never shown an inkling of violence towards any living person or animal. Maybe there’s something wrong with my guns, but I like them just the way they are.
What starter gun do you guys recommend?
A BB pistol. I'm not kidding. You need to learn the basics of handling and safety before grabbing something really dangerous. Get training from someone qualified, not the yahoo down the street who pops off rounds on the weekend.
