does any one else solve Rubik’s cubes?

I can do a 3x3 in about 100 seconds, on an old-school Rubik's. I likely won't be able to get much faster than this.
When I see someone like Feliks solving a cube in 5 seconds or so, my mind just explodes out of my skull.
People are crazy fast now like 4 seconds
Yea you can only get so fast with the on brand Rubik’s cubes. I’ve spent way to much on cubes
There are memorized patterns now. My solution was to break the cube apart and reassemble.

I used Vaseline, but wax would probably be better.

No there’s new cubes that are already perfectly tuned and lubricated
Vaseline eats at the plastic so I wouldn’t use it on any important cubes
At least I did not pull the stickers off the cube to stick them back on to solve the cube.
I've solved the 3x3 in about 30 seconds before. My average is more like 45 seconds though.
I've had a lot of other cubes over the years as well, including a 2x2, 4x4, 5x5 and 7x7. I have a Megaminx as well. I don't remember my time on most of them but I do know that I've solved the 7x7 in about 8 minutes.

Learning CFOP, solving cross on the bottom, and learning more algorithms will help you get faster.
