does chess.com moderation not detect abbreviation.
We do not prohibit the use of acronyms (however, misspellings or slang of some words may result in warnings or mutes depending on context and severity)
If you experience or witness abuse or other violations of the community guidelines, please use the report feature on the user’s comments or profile.
You should also block and ignore these users. This includes: not sending them messages, not responding to them and not discussing them in public.
Note: if you block a user they will be unable to send you private messages, comment on topics you create and will not be paired with you in a random chess match.
#2 in this case would a report do anything.
The use of acronyms doesn't violate the community policy.
Based on one message, I can't determine if the user is abusing or harassing you. If you have examples of a user repeatedly threatening or harassing you (especially if it's based on your nationality, race, disability, religion, gender or sexual orientation) please report. You can also let me know in DM.
People may be rude and mean sometimes.
This is why I recommend reporting, blocking and ignoring these users. A blocked user would be unable to be rude or mean in any topics you create. You also won't be paired in a match with them. Nor can they send you mean or rude messages.
If you ignore the user, don't respond to them and don't talk about them publicly but they continue to target you with abuse or harassment... that's more serious and something I would likely take action on.
