@paper_llama, you can mock me all you want, the law of entropy applies even with a simple backyard garden.

I've taken a (real) thermodynamics class, thanks.

And again, your idea betrays your gross ignorance. It's the same as a child saying maybe rockets can't go up in the sky because "I heard the law of gravity makes things go down"... it only makes sense if you know nothing about it.

Macroevolution has no relevance on the actual value of life. It really depends on how you believe evolution took place, whether it was guided or not
Avatar of paper_llama

There's no need to imagine a guiding force in natural processes, but I guess if that makes you feel better...

I'd say a more reasonable thing to do if you want to find a place to put God is say God created the necessary conditions for the natural process of evolution, and then God let nature take its course.

Great chat guys

Well of course the anthropic principle argues for a designer, I find some problems with the evolutionary theory that I can explain at a later time. For now, my bed awaits a crushing weight

@melvingarvey

Last time we were having a reasonable debate you suddenly decided you were offended and didn't want to talk anymore. I don't have respect for your attitude or your ideas.

It may be rude for an adult to have contempt for the small mind of a child, but it is not undeserved, for the child can not even imagine the various ways in which its ideas are wrong.

As I recall, you're older than me, and not a child, but your ideas are small and immature, and in ways you're not able to understand.

Sure, I'm a jerk sometimes. I don't care. I've dealt with immensely moronic religious people for most of my life. At this point I have no reason to pretend they're anything but morons.

Your reasons are petty, same as your person. You claim things without sustaining these, and well "you don't care", which is sure obvious you care only about yourself and your ideas: it shows, and it's not pretty.

I do know for a fact, from authorities such as those who deliver official certificates and other such things, that my mind is clear enough, and well shaped enough (One of these being the University of Cambridge, UK). Your word for telling me I'd be immature has simply no weight in comparison.

And I do believe you know it, and are simply a liar and in denial about what things actually are, because you have got a problem with some people and some organisations, you expand your problem to everything and everyone that looks alike. That's your childish problem, not mine.

Meh.
