@shangtsung111, your rapid rating is remarkable. It would be about #300 if it were current. Where did that come from? (you haven't played a lot on chess.com)

[Note I am not making insinuations like some, but I am interested].

Yeah, I'm definitely not making insinuations (wow, that's a big word, what does it even mean I wonder?)

By the way, my coach said if I were able to solve all of those 3 puzzles correctly, my rating would be over 2500.

My coach says he knows a player rated 2480 that failed all 3 of them!

did your coach also tell you why there are 3000 puzzle rated players with below 1000 rapid rating

No, my coach is not very good, I think I will fire him.

I guess if "true randomness" exists, then anything is probable.

Or was is possible? I keep confusing those two words.

If the puzzle simply stated "solved in 4 moves with checkmate" I think it would redirect ones focus.

To be clear, I've solved harder puzzles in my sleep. Literally.

There are essentially ZERO legitimate rapid players above a certain threshold (if we ignore a certain type / pattern).

Some people don't understand this, and are like the little kid lying in bed, who heated his thermometer to 50 °C in an attempt to feign sickness.

I also think it's rather easy to have an automated system which detects 50 °C temperatures.

what does that mean? I fail to see clarity in dreams. Could not even grasp Freuds Interpretation of dreamswink.png

Yeah, it's not like I "see" a board. It's more like I understand the relationship between the pieces. Sometimes the pieces appeared as abstract shapes that vaguely represented how they moved... such as rooks were long overlapping rectangles heh.

noodles2112

is not the relationship between pieces dependent upon the one using them?
