Dogs are great. Cats are great. Neither is better. It's a matter of opinion.

#1 is absolutely right, I’m glad some people can properly see the potential in dogs.

Cats are good, but are more made for older people.
That’s why movies depict old grandmas having like 30 cats. Cats are loud, but not loud loud, only when they need to be
Cats are more for stay-at-home people, while dogs are for the more active person.
It generally derives from experiences, allergies, and other outcomes that prove a person’s opinion on cats v dogs
Still, I had better memories with my dog than my cat, though I love both

2. They come in all sizes. With cats, you expect a similar size, but only difference is coloration. With dogs, you have more options and variety
3. Annoyance=low. With the exceptions of chihuahuas, dogs are less annoying than cats. I CAN VOUCH because I have owned both.
4: You can teach it tricks. With cats, the only trick you teach them is to use the litter box. With dogs, you can make them hunt, fetch, and do other stuff
5: loyalty. A cat don’t give two shuts about you. Dogs do
